Abstract
The possibility of applying a pyroelectric method, namely, the thermal square wave method at single frequency, for analyzing thermal characteristics of bulk nonferroelectric materials has been demonstrated. Polycrystalline and n-type single-crystal germanium samples doped with antimony to 3.7 × 1014 cm–3 have been studied. The dependences of thermal conductivity and thermal diffusivity on the crystallographic direction have been determined.
