Abstract

Abstract The characteristics of the closed recuperated Brayton cycle power conversion system are discussed, and parametric performance data are presented over a spectrum of operating temperatures and power levels. Conceptual designs of isotope and reactor systems employing Brayton cycle power conversion systems are presented. A status report on current developments and progress over the last year on Brayton cycle hardware is given.
