Abstract

The aim of the present study is to apply preference selection index (PSI) method for selection of optimal process parameters of Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) for Polylactic Acid Material. Experts or users related to FDM technology are always interested to select an appropriate optimal process parameters involve in manufacturing of component which directly affect the response process parameters such as tensile strength, tensile module, compressive strength, compressive module, surface roughness, etc. In present study one case study is considered from them literature to study the suitability of PSI method for selection of FDM process parameter for Polylactic Acid Material.
