Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of application of PRECEDE mode nursing in Hp- positive patients with chronic gastric ulcer. Methods Eighty Hp-positive patients with chronic ulcer admitted to Department of Spleen and Stomach Diseases, Qingdao West Coast New District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January, 2018 to January, 2019 were selected as study objects. They were divided into an intervention group and a control group by random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing intervention, while the intervention group PRECEDE mode nursing intervention. The clinical efficacy, compliance behavior, negative rate of Hp, recurrence rate, nursing satisfaction, and life quality scores before and after the intervention were compared between the two groups. Results The clinical efficacy of the intervention group was significantly higher than that of the control group (95.00% vs. 75.00%, P<0.05). The compliance behavior of the intervention group was significantly better than that of the control group (85.00% vs. 55.00%, P<0.05). After the intervention, the scores of physiological function, physiological function, body pain, general health, activity energy, social function, emotional function, and mental health of the two groups were significantly increased, and were significantly higher in the intervention group than in the control group (all P<0.05). The negative conversion rate and recurrence rate of Hp were 92.50% and 10.00% in the intervention group, and were 70.00% and 30.00% in the control group (both P<0.05). The nursing satisfaction of the intervention group was significantly higher than that of the control group (92.50% vs. 75.00%, P<0.05). Conclusion The application of PRECEDE mode nursing in Hp-positive patients with chronic gastric ulcer has a remarkable effect. It can significantly improve the patients’ compliance behavior and negative conversion rate of Hp. At the same time, it can reduce the recurrence rate, improve the patients’ quality of life and nursing satisfaction. It is worthy of clinical promotion. Key words: PRECEDE mode; Hp positive; Chronic gastric ulcer; Therapeutic effect; Medical compliance behavior.
