Methods 72 undergraduate clinical medicine students who were interning in our department were selected as the research objects for comparative analysis. The observation group was the flipped classroom group, with 36 people in each group. The teaching effect was evaluated by comparing the theory and skill test of the two groups and the comprehensive ability score. Results The skill scores (90.60±3.64) were significantly higher than those of the control group (86.74±6.85), and comprehensive ability scores of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group , with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). Conclusion In the clinical practice teaching of otolaryngology department, the use of micro-lecture combined with flipped classroom model can not only improve the teaching effect, but also train and improve the ability of students to solve problems and analyze problems independently.
