Abstract

Electrochemical detection in liquid chromatography was introduced in 1973 for the assay of catecholamines, the electroactive hormones and neurotransmitters, and continues to grow in popularity for the assay of trace amounts of biologically active compounds in complex samples in biology and medicine.
