Abstract

Objective To explore the effect of continuous nursing in the treatment of type 2 diabetes with insulin, and to provide the feasibility basis for the continuous nursing intervention service of insulin-based therapy for diabetes mellitus. Methods A total of 106 patients were enrolled in this study from August 2015 to February 2017. All patients were type 2 diabetic. They were randomly divided into the control group (routine discharge guidance)and the observation group(continuous care), 53 cases of each group. After 3 months, self-management level, treatment compliance, the reaching rate of blood glucose, the rate of insulin standard injection, and incidence of hypoglycemia were assessed. Results The treatment compliance rate, glycemic compliance rate, insulin standard injection rate and incidence of hypoglycemia in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P 0.05). Compared to before nursing, the self-care ability of the two groups was improved after nursing, and the improvement of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusions The application of continuous nursing in the treatment of type 2 diabetes with insulin is significant. It can effectively improve the patient's treatment compliance, the level of self-management.It is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
