Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of clinical nursing pathways during perichemotherapy for patients with breast cancer.Methods 64 patients with breast cancer receiving chemotherapy were randomly divided into control group and study group,32 for each group.The control group received routine care,while the study group received clinical nursing pathways.Mental status and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Results Mental status and quality of life were markedly improved in the study group,as compared with those in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusions Application of clinical nursing pathways during peri-chemotherapy for breast cancer can improve the quality of nursing care.
