Abstract
On the basis of reviewing the development of technology at home and abroad, this paper proposes the architecture, functions, and characteristics of a geological disaster monitoring and early warning system based on the Internet of Things (sensor network). The geological disaster monitoring and early warning system based on the Internet of Things (sensor network) includes on-site sensors and data acquisition processors, (wireless, wired) communication modules, and background data processing and information release system software. The system has the characteristics of intelligence, scale, standardization and real-time, reliability and security. Finally, combined with China’s national conditions, several key technologies and basic theoretical research directions of the geological disaster monitoring and early warning system based on the Internet of Things (sensor network) in China are proposed.
