Abstract
Abstract The miticide DPX-Y5893 at 2 rates and Plictran were applied on 14 Jun and compared to a treatment of Trithion + oil sprayed 12 Apr (delayed dormant). Single tree plots were arranged in a randomized block design and replicated 4 times. Trees were sprayed to runoff with a handgun using a Bean 35 gal/min hydraulic sprayer operating at 400 psi. Treatments were evaluated by randomly selecting 25 leaves per replicate, brushing onto glass plates with a modified Henderson-McBurnie brushing machine and counting with a binocular microscope.
