Abstract

Objective To investigate the significance of cyclophilin-D protein expression in the apoptotic endothelial cells. Methods The apoptois model of ECV304 cells was established by 100,300 and 500 μmol/L H2O2.The control group was treated by PBS.Parameters observed included apoptosis rate, the level of cyclophilin-D and ppif gene expression.Data were analyzed by SPSS13.Results Com-pared with the control group, apoptosis rate of ECV304 cells, the expression of cyclophilin-D increased, and the expression of ppif gene were increased (P<0.01,) in the 500 μmol/L H2O2 group. The level of cyclo-philin-D expression was positively correlated with the effect time of H2 02 (r=0.967,P<0.01) and apop-tosis rate (r=0.971,P<0.01).Conclusion H2O2 may successfully induce oxidative injury and apopto-sis of the endothelial cells in human blood vessels. The expression of cyclophilin-D protein may prodict the apoptosis of the endothelial cells. Key words: Endothelial cells; Apoptosis; Cyclophilin-D protein
