Abstract
Este trabalho objetiva analisar as orações temporais reduzidas em espanhol, sob a ótica do princípio de marcação (GIVÓN, 1995; 2001). Nos 44 dados analisados, provenientes de 36 entrevistas do Corpus Sociolinguístico de la ciudad de México, destacam-se os seguintes traços em relação às desenvolvidas: baixa frequência (7.3%), complexidade cognitiva e complexidade estrutural (ausência de conectivo; sujeito, tempo e aspecto contextuais; ambiguidades de leitura e ruptura de ordem linear).
