Abstract
Angular distributions have been measured of some groups of deuterons inelastically scattered by Mg/sup 24/ and Si/sup 28/ . These distributions were obtained at a bombarding energy of 8.9 Mev. A natural target of mmgnesium was used in the reaction Mg/sup 24/(d,d')Mg/sup 24/. A quartz target (SiC/sub 2/) was used for an investigation of the Si/sup 28/ reaction. (A.C.)
