Abstract

This article deals with the investigation of mixed convective stagnation point flow of Williamson liquid over a vertical stretched plate. Heat investigation is considered with Joule heating and viscous dissipation. Advance melting heat mode is also taken into account. Flow analysis is investigated with variable free stream velocity and constant ambient temperature. Computations for the relevant nonlinear differential system are made. Convergent solutions for the temperature and velocity are constructed and analyzed. Friction coefficient and local Nusselt parameter are tabulated and examined. Comparison for the cases Williamson and viscous fluids is given in absence and presence of melting phenomenon. It is found that the velocity profile increases while temperature profile reduces for higher melting estimator. Small values of melting estimator can be utilized as a cooling agent in the industrial procedures.
