Abstract

It is specified that modern conditions of education determinate the demand for specialists trained for the development, planning and implementation of tourist leisure activities. It is noted that they should have the following qualities: communicability, responsibility, independence, professional mobility, activity and creativity, and outstand with spacious mind, intellect, intercultural competence, tolerance to other cultures, and at the same time be creative and active. On the basis of the analysis of literary sources, the issues of the current state of formation of the readiness of future specialists in tourism to the animation activities in the recreational and health sphere are analyzed. The research uses the results of a questionnaire survey of 171 students of higher educational institutions of Ukraine: students of the Zaporizhzhya National Technical University, the Classic Private University, the Lviv State Institute of Physical Culture, the Yuriy Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University. The results of students’ responses concerning the formation of the readiness of future specialists in tourism to the animation activities in the recreational and health sphere are presented. It is shown that the future specialists in tourism are tasked with mastering the knowledge, skills and expertise, and they have to perform professional functions competently and responsibly, that will allow to encourage tourists to animation activities in order to improve people health, lift spirits, restore vitality and energy. It is specified that high-quality animation programs serve as a multifunctional project for the transfer of social and cultural information, contribute to preservation of aesthetic and cultural values, accumulation of information and gaining of aesthetic experience. It is noted that animation programs should include sports competitions, sports shows, dancing parties, carnivals and theatrical performances, which will help to restore somatic health and will support the level of physical development and restoration of general peace of mind. It is shown that the formation of the readiness of future specialists in tourism should be aimed at mastering the skills of conducting animation programs based on such types of motion activity as: health improving fitness, motion games, recreational games, sports games, strength training activities, aqua aerobics. It is substantiated that the formation of the readiness of future specialists in tourism to the animation activities in the recreational and health sphere should be directed at the constant supplement, comprehension and integration of knowledge and experience in the recreational and health sphere; readiness to the formation of a healthy lifestyle; preserving and restoring the health of various social groups. The relevance and expedience of the chosen research problem is proved.
