Abstract

The paper proposes a method for processing and analyzing satellite images of a territory with increased seismic activity to identify geological inhomogeneities (geological faults, blocks) on the Earth’s surface. The methodology is based on adapted algorithms for discrete Shearlet transform (Shearlet toolbox and FFST). The problems of noise filtering and contour extraction with contrasting and color coding for the studied visual observational data are solved.
