Abstract
The aim of this study was to establish an ARX model to describe the relationship between the arterial blood pressure(ABP) and the ocular blood flow(BF) in the optic never head(ONH) under the experimental condition of ABP suddenly changes. The sudden changes in ABP was induced by the method of the thigh cuff. The parameters of this model can be estimated by using system identification .In this paper, recursive least squares algorithm was been adapted. The theoretical and actual data fitted well and suggest that this model can effectively describe both the linear and nonlinear feature in dynamic and static autoregulation in the ONH. It shows that the BF autoregulation fully functions when the ABP was > 80 mmHg and works incompetely when ABP was < 80 mmHg. This model may be used to help investigating the features of autoregulation in the ONH under different experimental conditions.
