Abstract

Objective To explore the nursing effect of aerosol inhalation combined with mechanical vibration expectoration in children with viscous pneumonia of PICU. Methods Both groups were treated routinely. The control group was given routine artificial knock back expectoration nursing after aerosol inhalation, while the observation group was given mechanical vibration expectoration nursing. Observed nursing effects and satisfaction of the two groups. Results The observation group was superior to the control group in the terms of the amount of nursing, lung X-ray examination, lung auscultation, and PICU hospitalization days (P<0.05). The rate of nursing satisfaction in the observation group was 95.3%, significantly higher than 79.1% in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Mechanical vibration expectoration nursing intervention after aerosol inhalation for children with sputum viscous pneumonia in PICU can achieve satisfactory nursing effect and nursing satisfaction.
