Abstract
In this era, Internet for education is one of the basic need; for students, teachers, lecturers, and staff. The increasing of internet needs cause the increasing of data traffic than before. In this research, traffic volumes of the Internet is analyzed using the ADPH (Average Daily Peak Hour) technique. ADPH is one of teletraffic techniques to calculate traffic volumes based on its busy hours. Previously, this technique is used in telephony systems. In this research, ADPH is tried to be used for calculating data traffic volumes.

Summary
Pada bagian ini dijelaskan mengenai diagram alir penelitian, mulai dari pengambilan data sampai dengan analisis data. Kolom yang disimpan masih seperti data yang tersimpan pada Torch, yakni kolom nomor, waktu, macprotocol, IP-protocol, scr-address, tx, rx, txpacket, dan rxpacket. Setelah data 96 periode waktu diperoleh, tahap berikutnya dalam pengolahan data ini adalah mengelompokkannya ke dalam satu jam periode waktu dengan selisih antar periode sebesar 15 menit, yakni 00.00 – 01.00, 00.15 – 01.15, dan seterusnya. Dalam aplikasi Microsoft Excel, ADPH dapat diperoleh mencari nilai trafik tertinggi, yakni dengan menggunakan perintah max. Jika perhitungan ADPH sudah selesai dikerjakan dan benar dalam hal penggunaan persamaan 1 maka tahap berikutnya adalah analisis. Perhitungan ADPH ini kemudian dianalisis untuk mendapatkan informasi volume dan intensitas trafik tertinggi dalam kurun waktu tujuh hari pengamatan. Pengamatan hari ke-1 sampai dengan hari ke-5 merupakan pengamatan pada hari kerja, sedangkan pengamatan hari ke-6 dan hari ke-7 merupakan pengamatan pada hari libur
