Abstract

Objective To investigate the disinfection effect of Electrolyzed Oxidizing Potential Water(EOW) in Pharmacy Intravenous Admixture Service(PIVAS) and the rotation time of disinfectant. Methods The disinfection effect of 75% alcohol, 84 disinfectant object surface wipe disinfection and EOW object surface wipe disinfection were compared.The efficacy of ultraviolet irradiation air disinfection with EOW ultramicro-particle air disinfection were compared.The rotation time between the surface disinfection with 75% alcohol and 84 disinfectant and the air disinfection with ultraviolet radiation and the surface disinfection with EOW and the air disinfection with ultramicro particles were compared. Results The surfaces of objects were wiped and disinfected with two disinfectants, and the number of bacterial colonies on the surfaces of objects was less than or equal to 5 CFU/cm2 for 7 consecutive detection days. Using two air disinfection methods, the sedimentation bacteria were less than or equal to 4 CFU/(皿·30 min) for 7 consecutive detection days.The two disinfection schemes were used alternately.In the disinfection process, bacterial colonies were generated, and the number and time of bacterial colonies were not fixed.Finally, the disinfection effect of the two disinfection methods reached the requirements of the regulations on PIVAS environment in the Standard of Hospital Disinfection and Sanitation. Conclusion EOW wipes and disinfects the surfaces of objects in the PIVAS clean area and disinfects the air with ultramicro particles, and the disinfection effect is reliable.The rotation time of alternate use of 75% alcohol, 84 disinfectant surface cleaning disinfection and ultraviolet irradiation air disinfection and use of EOW surface cleaning disinfection and ultra-fine particle spray air disinfection should be 30 days.
