Abstract

Bilingual teaching bears the responsibility to help students master the professionalknowledge and improve their English skills. To achieve this double educational goal, the bilingual text-books need to fulfill higher requirements than other traditional textbooks in native language. In the field ofmedical education, currently, there are various types of bilingual textbooks. But it' s still very hard to findtextbooks that can really meet the needs of bilingual teaching. In this paper, we discussed the current situa-tion of bilingual medical textbooks, analyzed the advantages, disadvantages, and major problems of everytype respectively.
