Abstract
As there is increase of Grid-Tied PV system, various challenges such as overloading of transformer, fluctuating PV power are more pronounce during peak hour time. Thus, in order to overcome the above-mentioned challenges, advance APC (Active Power Control) method is proposed. For cost-effectiveness, CPG (Constant Power Generation) controller has been incorporated with active grid regulation. The proposed paper shows, three different control technique of CPG based on APC: 1) Power Control constant power generation technique 2) Current-Control constant power generation technique 3) Perturb & Observe- Control Constant power generation technique. When there is change of operational mode from maximum power to CPG mode, the performance of entire system will get affected. To counter this, the proposed paper also revealed that by using P&O-Control CPG or Current-Control CPG mode fast dynamic can be achieved with good response under steady-state. Further, experimental results conducted on single phase Solar photovoltaic Power system (SPPS) have been discussed.
