Abstract

The method of moments solution for a printed dipole antenna on a grounded general anisotropic substrate is formulated with the eigenvector dyadic Green's functions. The general feasibility of this method is validated by checking the numerical results of a printed dipole on isotropic, biaxial and ferrite substrates with the previous work in which different dyadic Green's functions are used. Furthermore, this method is utilized to study the effect of the biasing magnetic field to the resonant length and radiation patterns of a printed dipole on a gyroelectric substrate.
