Abstract
The aim of the study is to learn from experiences made in other countries and to suggest improvements for the wolf management in Switzerland. In order to define potential factors of success for an efficient wolf management, the wolf management programmes of Switzerland, Montana (USA) and Sachsen (DE) are analysed in terms of their implementation and results concerning reaching the aims. This is done using a policy analysis with focus on differences between the wolf management programmes.
