Abstract
This contribution deals with an optimization problem of the container transport in a road network linking a railway transport through a container terminal. Transshipment of containers from the container terminal to the individual nodes of the network, transshipment from the nodes to the oontainer terminal and transshipment of emptycontainers among all nodes of the network in the considered problem is assumed. The contribution oontains a general linear integer program and gives some details about two methods whloh solve special problems of this kind. The first of them solves the transshipment of big containers by vehicles of homogeneous fleet and the second solves the transshipment of small containers by vehicle of heterogeneous fleet.
