Abstract
As the great impetus to the national economy, the region has begun to vigorously develop the exhibition industry, but the economic driven effect of the exhibition varies from its different types. Based on the theory of industrial relevance effect and the direct statistical method in the evaluation model of exhibition pull coefficient, this paper chose the 94th China Food and Drinks Fair, the 19th Chengdu Motor Show and the 16th Western China International Fair as objects of study to analyze the economic driven effect of different types of exhibitions in Chengdu. The study found that the professional exhibition - the 94th China Food and Drinks Fair and the 19th Chengdu Motor Show’s economic driven effect were 1: 9.7, 1: 4.7; the comprehensive exhibition - the 16th Western China International Fair’s economic driven effect was 1: 6.4.
