Abstract

Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) coated Stainless Steel (SS) thin film (TiO2/SS) as electrochemical Dopamine (DA) sensing electrode materials are synthesized via a Radio Frequency Magnetron Sputtering (RFMS) method. TiO2 nanomaterial is uniformly dispersed on the surface of SS, thus enhancing the electronic conductivity and preventing the aggregation of TiO2/SS thin film. The TiO2/SS thin film exhibit good efficiency which is 0.0219 ± 0.01 µA/µM for the linear range of 50 µM – 450 µM with a detection limit of 23 nM.
