Abstract

With the development of film industry, more and more excellent foreign films are brought into China, meanwhile, many domestic films are going outside. In order to let both people at home and abroad understand each other, translators bear lots of responsibility to express the culture. This paper concentrates on the Intercultural communication, and how translators build the relationships between the native language and target language, in this paper i will talk about the translation strategies in the film subtitle from the perspective of Intercultural communication. The purpose of this thesis is to improve the future film subtitle translation and help people to know very well about the content and topics in the foreign films and understand foreign films culture in a better way.
