Abstract

The document presents reflections associated with greening the curricular and training process of the Technology in Textile Chemistry program of the Textile and Leather Manufacturing Center. The process is developed by carrying out an analysis of the curricular structure, the development of training projects, and understanding the needs and dynamics of the productive sector. As a result, three modalities of integration of the environmental component to the training program and the projective ones to promote an ecological culture in the center. It reflects the potential of training contexts for work as scenarios for environmental analysis and transformation in production practices. In a future line, the experience can contribute to the discussion around education for environmental sustainability and allow recognition of the efforts to integrate the ecological component in tertiary training processes.
