Abstract

The experience of APEC countries in neutralizing and managing socio-economic development risks as a factor for ensuring economic security is described in this article. The conclusions about the effectiveness of applying this experience in the Russian economic environment are made. The authors consider the indices of еhe Ul Safety Index. On the example of China, Japan, and Singapore, a comparative analysis is conducted and the main components of the implementation of effective strategic management in the field of evaluation of risks and threats to socio-economic development (planning of individual objects, strategic planning of branch and regional development, and state programming) are systematized.
