Abstract

Physical activity of young people in the context of the recommendations of the World Health Organization The tests performed were diagnostic in nature. The research group consisted of 207 high school students, 121 girls and 86 boys. The empirical analysis allowed us to learn about the time devoted to physical activity among young people aged 14 to 18 years in comparison to WHO guidelines. During the study, the problem of students’ subjective opinion on selected external factors that may influence the level of activity was also diagnosed. Additionally, students shared their observations about who motivates them to take up physical activity and what goals determine them to undertake such activities.
