Abstract
Abstract AISI No 602 is a low-alloy high-temperature constructional steel of the Cr-Mo-V-Si type that possesses useful strength after suitable heat treatment at temperatures up to 1000 F. It is used for jet engine compressor wheels and blading. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as creep, and deformation. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SA-222.
