Abstract
Attention was given to a problem of establishing a human functional condition according to physiological parameters measurements of different age groups of people. The most informative parameters are cardiovascular system measurements such as: arterial pressure (systolic and diastolic), heart rate, blood oxygenation and circulation dynamics of pulse waves. Pulse waves, measured on upper extremities vessels, give integral information about condition of cardiovascular system and other related organs. Therefore the creation of expressdiagnostic computer system based on analysis of cardiovascular system parameters is an up to date task. Determination of the pathological deviations needs knowledge of the normal parameter values in the context of age and gender. The main factors and mechanisms of cardiovascular system aging and how they are reflected in measured parameters where examined. We made an analysis of several different age groups and described a pulse wave’s registration and processing methods.
