Abstract

This chapter helps in investigating aerosol microstructure using the photoelectric counters (PEC) of different modifications. The operation principle is based on registration of light impulse scattered by particles at passing them through some underlined region of light beam, the so called “instrument counting volume.” The results of measuring the same aerosol by PEC Micron and laser PEC Delta sufficiently coincide with each other. In total, both given PEC cover enough wide range of aerosol particle concentrations and sizes.
