Abstract
The article describes the principles of article preparation in The Encyclopedia of Modern Ukraine (EMU) on the administrative divisions of Ukraine and other countries. The the main authors on this topic are mentioned. The criteria for submission of articles on administrative divisions in the general encyclopedias of Ukraine published before the appearance of the EMU have been analyzed.
