Abstract

Artificial Intelligence(AI) allows machines to learn and act like intelligent beings, mimickinghuman problem-solving abilities thereby promising a versatile future of innovation. AI hasalready been adopted in various fields like transportation, healthcare, business, agriculture, entertainment, automobile industry, etc. The emergence of AI has been transformingthewayof imparting and gaining education and will lead to revolutionize the traditional teachinglearning processes in plethora of dimensions. Also, a network of interconnected intelligent devices that exchange data with each other over the internetis coineda Internet of Things (IoT)and is expanding applications in home security, asset tracking, chronic disease management, environment monitoring, intelligent transportation, and many more. Integration of dominant technologies like AI and IoT has potential to transition Education 5.0 globally emphasisinghumanised teaching, adaptive approach to social and emotional development of large numberof learners, timely prediction and control of teaching-learning aspects. AI can provide varioussolutions to enhance the quality of current education system. The aimof this paper istoprovide perspective analysis of cutting-edge technologies specifically AI andIoTineducational domain along with potential applications. Major issues and challenges forintegrating such technologies in teaching learning process are also elaborated. WithAI andIoT as backbone of modern education, there are continual possibilities to make the teachingand learning adaptive at various levels and improve globally.
