Abstract

The present study was carried out in the facilities of the Boat Dock Sub-Headquarters of the Center for Research and Production of Goods and Services (CIPBS) -Chucuito of the National University of the Altiplano of Puno (UNA Puno). The objective of this study was to evaluate types of feeding and the relationship with the growth, condition and survival of Odontesthes bonariensis fed using three types of food in circular ponds, the process was developed in 2021. Pejerrey fingerlings of 4.7cm in length were used. average size and average weight of 1.7 g planted a total of 1500 individuals (T1 = 500, T2 = 500 and T3 = 500). After 240 days, the T3 treatment (natural food + Nicovita brand balanced food) achieved a maximum total length of 27 cm, total weight 59.5 g, antagonistic condition factor below 1 and a survival of 97% followed by T1 and T2 (90%, 84%) respectively. It is concluded that T3 presented encouraging results in growth and survival compared to T1 and T2 and likewise obtaining in the length -weight relationship an allometric exponential equation for presenting a value greater than 3, with a correlation where R2 is 0.97 and the exponential 3.140 which indicates that the tabulated data present a relationship between weight and size of the pejerrey showing a type of positive allometric growth in T3.
