Introduction

The article explores some processes that activate the creative potential of 7/8- year old children after mixed painting techniques introduction and application. Changing the stereotype of teaching, using non-traditional painting ways, encourages children towards creative thinking and the development of imagination. Children are familiar with the fine art materials and their capabilities but conducting lessons in the same model with standard materials usage leads to a lack of motivation and creativity.
