Abstract
In this work, antibacterial silver nanoparticles were synthesized under the combined effect of high-intensity ultrasonic vibrations on a liquid medium above the cavitation threshold and pulsed or stationary electric fields. These conditions lead to the specific form of plasma discharge in a cavitating liquid medium. This type of discharge is a new, earlier poorly studied physical phenomenon with original electrophysical and optical characteristics. Silver rods were used as materials for the discharge electrodes.
