Abstract

The article briefly highlights the main results of the activities in the field of studying the waters of the Arctic Ocean and the Arctic seas over a period covering the last decade. Information about the most significant expeditions carried out in the high-latitude Arctic after the International Polar Year 2007/08 and large summaries of the obser- vation results are given. Attention is drawn to the preservation and deepening of trends in changes in thermohaline conditions in the water area of the high-latitude Arctic seas.
