Abstract
AAC Springfield is a high protein soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.] cultivar developed by the Ottawa Research and Development Centre, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Ottawa, Ontario. It is intended for production in 2400 to 2600 crop heat unit areas of Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec. AAC Springfield was issued Certificate of Eligibility for Certification No. 1864-2016 by the Canadian Seed Growers’ Association on 10 May 2016. AAC Springfield was granted Plant Breeders’ Rights certificate number 5799 on 16 August 2018.
