Abstract

International Crisis Group (ICG) is an independent, nonprofit, multinational organization based in Brussels, with branches throughout the world. The thirty-five-page report, the ICG's twenty-fifth on the Middle East, provides an overview of the situation of Israel's Palestinian minority, including historical and political context, areas of particular discrimination (resources, land and planning, education), mutual Jewish and Arab Israeli perceptions, and recent developments and trends. Reproduced below is the subsection dealing with land and planning. The extensive informational footnotes have been omitted for space reasons; only the reference footnotes have been retained. The entire report can be found online at www.crisisweb.org
