Abstract
Three specimens of the glass lizard (Ophisaurus attenuatus attenuatus Baird) taken at Plum Thicket Farm, three miles north and one mile east of Sharon, Barber County, Kansas, extend the known distribution of this species southwestward by approximately 68 miles from Winfield, Cowley County, Kansas (see Smith, Univ. Kansas Publ., Mus. Nat. Hist., Misc. Publ. No. 2, p. 198, 1950). One specimen was obtained by me on August 17, 1951, a second one by Thane S. Robinson on June 29, 1952, and the third one by W. Jackson Davis on June 9, 1954. These specimens have been deposited in the Museum of Natural History at the University of Kansas and given Accession nos. 889, 1148 and 1201, respectively.
