Abstract

Abstract Many divorced single mothers suffer from psychological, social, parent/child relationship, and economic problems. This paper introduces and tests an eclectic model of psychotherapy aimed at alleviating these problems, as well as what was believed to be an underlying dependency. The model includes both psychodynamic and behavioral techniques, and was used to treat five divorced mothers. A repeated single-subject design was used to evaluate the treatment model.
