Abstract

Quantum Dot Cellular automata (QCA) technology is a transistor free method that is considered to be the best substitute for CMOS technology which describes the digital information by polarization of electrons. The issues which are contemporary to current CMOS technology are addressed by the QCA technology effectively because of excessive speed, low power intake and reduced area at nano scale. Adders have become indispensable part of all arithmetic operations. An adder is the integral of computational portion of ALU. This paper demonstrates the state of art of survey on various Majority gates designed using QCA technology which can be used as primary logic gate in Adders design and comparisons were done based on cell count. Design is done accurately in QCA Designer software 2.0.3.
