Abstract

Objective To explore the effects of comprehensive nursing intervention on schizophrenic patients with negative mood.Methods A total of 120 cases of schizophrenia were randomly divided into two groups ( each with 60 cases).All the subjects were treated with anti-psychotics and general nursing,and the study group was performed with comprehensive nursing intervention for 8 weeks.The Self - rating Depression Scale (SDS) and the Self - rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) were measured to evaluate effects before and after 8 weeks intervention.Results The scores of SDS and SAS had no significant difference between the two groups before intervention ( P > 0.05 ).The negative mood of anxiety and depression showed obviously improved at the end of 8 weeks intervention than before.The scores of SDS and SAS in the study group were significantly lower than those of the control group and before intervention ( P < 0.01 ).Conclusions Comprehensive nursing intervention enhances drug effects,and is helpful for patients to recognize illness and set up healthy life style.It plays an active role on patients'health and return society to relieve negative mood.
