Abstract

As mobile Internet technology develops rapidly in recent years, integration of mobile Internet technology and English curriculum fundamentally changed the nature of English teaching. At the same time, the English classroom teaching pattern transformed from traditional classroom to modern English class in the mobile Internet environment. The mobile Internet era is changing the way college students learn. How to effectively use mobile Internet technology to facilitate interaction of college English classroom has become crucial in the field of English education in colleges and universities. This research explores principles of enhancing interaction of college English classroom in the mobile Internet environment from three aspects: student-centered, multiple interactions and innovation-oriented. By specifying teaching objectives and classifying teaching contents, teachers are expected to design an optimal interactive teaching pattern (in-classroom + mobile internet aid teaching + individual autonomous learning) to achieve teacher-student interaction, student-student interaction and student-course interaction. This interactive teaching pattern is circular and spiral-rise with an integrative process (problem presupposition + problem push + independent thinking + group discussion + statistical analysis + feedback adjustment + problem generation). The interactive pattern integrates the elements of mobile Internet technology into the classroom interaction, hence enhancing classroom interaction, improving effectiveness of feedback, and realizing the educational goal of classroom interaction.
