Abstract
This paper presents a soft-switching capacitive power transfer (CPT) system based on asymmetric bilateral LCL resonant network for shipborne charging base station applications. CPT system is composed of high frequency inverter, resonant network and coupling mechanism. In this paper, a double E-class inverter which can realize constant power output and soft-switching operation of switching tube is adopted. Based on the analysis of asymmetric bilateral LCL resonant network, a method for calculating the parameters of resonant network parameters with constant power transmission is designed. Finally, a simulation model is established by using the system parameters obtained from the application, and the simulation results verify the constant power output characteristics of the proposed CPT system.
