Abstract
Therapeutic Enactment (TE) groups, as presented in the article, “Time-Limited Service Alternatives: Using Therapeutic Enactment in Open Group Therapy,” offer an exciting and promising addition to the types of groups traditionally offered in university counseling centers. The brevity of member participation, the lack of empirical evidence of effectiveness, and the significant level of leader competency required for effective facilitation of the groups are notable limitations that deserve attention.
