Abstract

The use of an electroneutral ligand modified the Cd 2+-rich surface of CdS leads to the surrounding of CdS/2,2′-bpy by the counter ion (anion) to balance the charge of the Cd 2+ ions, resulting in the CdS cluster with strong electrolyte behavior.
